Keep the hardware you already own. The room connector bridges SIP / H.323 / GB28181 / RTSP devices into SRTC channels and STMLink meetings, and can also bring in Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other cloud meeting sessions over SIP / H.323.
The Room Connector (device gateway) is the SRTC interoperability component that brings SIP and H.323 room systems, plus GB28181 / RTSP IP cameras, into SRTC channels and STMLink meetings. Devices can dial in by IP or register and call a meeting ID, up to a hundred SIP devices can share one meeting, and hosts can mute or stop their video. Over SIP / H.323 it also interoperates with Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other cloud meeting services. It is self-hosted alongside SRTC and can cross network boundaries through one-way gateways.
